Top Navigation Apps on Android in Ghana: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Ghana showed varying performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

GPS Satellite View: Live Maps from Sleek Mobile App saw notable fluctuations in downloads, starting at around 4.2K and peaking at 8.2K in mid-February. The app maintained a steady number of active users, beginning at approximately 33.9K and reaching a high of 45.2K in late February.

GhanaPostGPS, developed by Ghana Post Co Ltd, experienced a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 547 and reaching over 3.7K by the end of February. Active users grew from 11.2K to approximately 14.5K during the same period.

Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path by Travel Maps Tech showed a significant upward trend in downloads, beginning with 157 in early January and increasing to over 4.3K by late March. Active user numbers also saw a rise from 1.1K to 6.2K throughout the quarter.

Camera Location: Geotag Photos from GAM Mobile App had a varied download trend, with a peak of 1.5K in early February, followed by a decline to 226 by the end of March. Active users increased from 848 to a peak of 1.4K in mid-March before dropping slightly.

Lastly, Voice GPS & Driving Direction from Photo Mixer & Video Editor Zone maintained relatively stable download numbers around 1.3K at the start, with a lower end at 632 in early February. Active users slightly decreased from 565 to 401 by the end of the quarter.
